Re: abrupt temperature failure at same postion?!
solution seems to be found: it is the power supply! I have still the old ATX installed and it seems to be giving less power. jj from seemecnc gave me the great advise to change PID settings: PID Drive Max to 255 and the PID Max Value to 255 till now my rossi is running again. strange thing is have n...

Re: abrupt temperature failure at same postion?!
Thank you for your answer geneb, I know what you have in mind. But I don't think that is the reason here. The calibration box prints out perfect. And there are some more layers to reach... I am so under time pressure that I threw out the H280 and installed the old hotend back in. With the old whip.....

How to setup for Rostock?!
Hi everybody and a happy new year... yeah me again asking maybe a silly question: How do I use Cura with my Rostock Max V2 (with all the upgrades)? I installed Cura and found some settingfiles of you guys. Like a "RostockMAX.json" file. I dropped it into the "definitions" folder ...

still getting strange prints... please help
Hi everybody, as I already stated in another post I am still getting strange results with my printer. After installing the V3 upgrades I had some smaller issues. But got rid of them. The prints were good. But from one day to another the prints came out with wobbling or vibrating layers. I checked th...

Re: Some bad layers...
good question RichWP!
I tightened the belts but the results are not better. it is really strange cause a few days ago everything was fine.
it is really frustrating cause I need to get it working fast. like always when you need it to work something gets in the way

Re: Worth it?
Thank you so much for your points. To a simple-user like me the product itself sounded really good. But from what you told it doesn't sound like a product I want to spend my money on. You convinced me to look for something else. I need to get more into the matter :D And again I have to say: ...

Re: Some bad layers...
Thank you for your advice Joe. I tightened the belts. I got to admit the correct belt tension is a big mystery to me
Nozzle and the rest seems to be tight. I will now try to print some callibration boxes.
Great to have you guys here.
...and again a big thank you

SD-Card slot corrupt?!
Dear forum, as I stated in another thread I am having some issues to print a complex part out of Mattercontrol. So I tried to use another slicer and export the gcode to use the SD-Slot of my printer. But when I insert the SD-Card it shows no files on it! There is nothing I could choose! Tried differ...

Re: Model to complex to slice?!
I have 32GB ram, so I don't think that's the problem. Is there a way to print with KISS without SD-card? I tried severall times with Cura and KISS to slice... copied to SD-card and inserted into the printer. Sometimes I don't see any files on the LCD and sometimes the print stops after aprox 40 secs...

Re: Model to complex to slice?!
yes, but I don't get to that point.
Mattercontrol takes forever to slice that thing. I tried KISS and the gcode file starts to print and in the middle of the first layer I a get a sd-failure message!

Model to complex to slice?!
Hi to all, usually I model my things on my own but this thing (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:359618) looks really nice and I want to print it. Now I have a little problem; Mattercontrol tells me it is to complex and will result in possible failures. If I continue anyway Mattercontrol takes foreve...
