Re: Working Repetier Host Firmware Config
I am using a RAMBO board. The problem I have is that the Z Axis more or less seizes up when I try to move it in either direction. I don't have this problem using Marlin, so I assume it is something in my configuration. I used the stock Repetier for Rambo files.

Re: Z Axis motor lockup
Tried that, it did not work. Redownloaded the Marlin firmware to the board and it work fne. I thne tried the Repetier firmware again and still no luck. Also tried changing the Zaxis feedrate. FYI I used the Repetier for Rambo firmware.

Z Axis motor lockup
I have built a h-1.1. In testing things out, the motor on the z-axis seizes up when I use the software(Repetier) to tell it to go either up or down. It also will not turn at all and appears to be locked up when the RAMBO is powered up. I though it was the motor or the mount, but when I plug the z ax...

Several more questions

Do I print directly on the printer bed (heated bed when I get it hooked up) or should I tape a piece of glass on the bed. 2. Where exactly should the extruder head be when at positon (0,0,0) in the center of the print b...

Finished build, now 2 questions
I have basically finished building my printer. I have three questions. 1. Is there any place I can find a picture of where to mount the endstop switches. 2. I have the RAMBO controller. Are there any instructions for hooking it up to the printer and to the power supply. 3. Are there any general inst...
