I agree, don't like how you cant release the bowden because its hidden, but you can fix that by printing this this extension.

I will give it a go but layer height in MC is 0.20.KAS wrote:That's just a layer height adjustment. In S3D on the Layer tab, set "Primary Layer Height" to .16mm and try the print again.

Re: Almost giving up!
So my multiplier is quite low, 0.80 - i also noticed that 3 of the walls are as good as 0.40 but 1 wall can be 0.41-0.45, i printed twice and same both times. I also just printed the same stl in MatterControl and its consistent 0.47 every wall ( i don't know how to change the extrusion width in Matt...

Re: Almost giving up!
Thanks for the feedback, i am using a 0.4 nozzle so i will use your stl. The only thing that you have different to everything else that i have tried is to set the multiplier at the same size as the nozzle 0.40, previously i have been setting it 0.44 Hopefully this will make the difference, will post...

Almost giving up!
Hi guys, any idea why my S3D setup wont even match MatterControl which is straight out the box settings. I printed a 10x10x10 cube in MatterControl and it looks perfect but trying to even match the same results in S3D even after a few days at it is just impossible. I have downloaded peoples setting,...

Re: Our latest vid. Extrusion Rate calibration.
Yes just like your first pictures shows, small gaps between the infill lines. It's interesting because the infill gaps look like it's under extruding, but the top layers and corners look like over extrusion. What size nozzle are you using? What slicer? Those top layers should be smooth. Thanks for ...

Re: Help with Simplify3D settings
Have you tried printing it with a .50 Extrusion Width? Under the Infill tab, you can try "Infill Extrusion Width" at 200%. Also under the advanced tab, try 50% "Allow gap fill when necessary" edit: jFettig beat me to the outline overlap. One more thing, checkout this topic. It h...

Re: Our latest vid. Extrusion Rate calibration.
Hi, when you say tiny gaps do mean a visible gap where each line is NOT touching each other?
Do you have a close-up image to demonstrate?
Like so.
This is the final result, would you say not enough extrusion? Also has some melting/warping look about it.
