This is something that I am interested in. When everyone went with PEI I spent a good amount of time looking into tinting. I got busy and dropped it. If it doesn't warp with higher temps it might be a good candidate.

Yeah, I never thought about how I was going to get it off. Regardless, it's still going strong and doesn't look like it needs to be cleaned or re-applied like hairspray or glue stick would.

I'm using the logitech c615 and streaming 720 at 15fps. If you haven't, you could try lowering the FPS. There isn't really a need for that to be high at all, especially if your only using it for timelapse.

But yeah, could be the camera and or resolution you're streaming at. I was trying to get 720p and had a much higher end webcam. My buddy on the other hand had no issue with his cheaper vga resolution cam.

I haven't tried ABS yet, if I get a chance I will test it out this weekend.

I couldn't run octoprint on my raspberry pi if I had a camera hooked up. if mjpg-streamer is running it will slow it down. Download htop and run that to see where you're resources are going.

My solution was to switch to the beaglebone black. i haven't had an issue since.

I had this stuff lying around and figured I would give it a shot. So far it's the best adhesive I've used (at least for PLA). Yeah, they should be more consistent with their units. I think the reason they sell them unspoiled is because the spools they have are a huge waste of plastic. I saw some made of cardboard a while back, it would be nice if the 1lb stuff came on that.

So I got my kit (haven't opened the box yet), and I also got a roll each of PLA and ABS from Ultimachine. I was expecting them to be on spools, but they are just loose plastic in rolls. Does the printer itself come with a spool to use, or is that something I just need to order separate? Thanks -Dav...

That looks like it would be much easier to assemble. What are they made out of? All the ones I'm finding are made out of aluminum.

According to E3d, a radiator isn't needed. Just a reservoir.
