Re: dark blue forum theme
On that note, if you see anything different in the next few days that DOESNT work, post it here so I can look at it Hi johnoly99, thanks much for your work! Do the tags work? I seem to have difficulty with them. I'm following this information I found, but they don't seem to work...

Re: Hobbed Drive Roller Causing Rose Thorn Filament, Failed Prints
I'm just throwing out a guess here, but I'd say your hotend is not hot enough. Perhaps your thermistor is giving bad readings? Other place I'd look is to ensure that the filament path is clear and easy to move through from spool to print head. Any resistance is one more thing the EZstruder has to pu...

PEI works for me! ABS 235C/95c-300mm tall on a 22mm by 22mm raft. I could never do that with gluesticks.

Implementing Grid Compensation (M557)
This is from another post, but I thought it was different enough to have it's own thread... How do you implement Grid Compensation on a Max V2 with the Duet 0.85 and firmware 1.17RC1/DWC 1.13? What I've done so far is: 1. Removed bed.g 2. Added M557 R150 S25 to config.g 3. Modified the reprap.htm f...

Re: Upgrading to Duet/Diamond
Sorry it's been a while since the last update. As you can see from the picture, I've had to make some modifications since last time I posted. Mods include: 1. Changed the way the filament feeds from the top sides to a more direct path ...

Re: Duet 0.6 Setup questions
Most of the info I needed to update my Duet was located here: https://duet3d.com/wiki/Duet_Wifi_Wiki#Initial_configuration_.28Duet_.26_Duet_WiFi.29 and here: https://duet3d.com/wiki/Where_to_get_Duet_and_Duet_WiFi_firmware_and_tools - I read that since the recent versions the firmware can be updated...

Re: Duet setup - instructions in progress
I'm getting ready to convert my machine to a duet, and am wondering if somebody can help explain what I am seeing. I flashed both my duet board and Paneldue to v1.14 successfully, but when I connect my PanelDue to my Duet and power both boards via USB connected to the Duet, The PanelDue screen blin...

Re: Duet setup - instructions in progress
Hi dmo. I actually had a similar issue when converting to the Duet. I had to completely rewire (or swap wires) the connection from each motor to the board. I don't remember what the exact combination or appropriate connections are right off the top of my head, but I can check for you when I get back...

Re: Duet and Multi-Color/Multi-Filament Extrusion
Here's my latest effort. (Please don't mind the colors...It's what I have a bunch of, so I'm using it up...) So far the wipe shield is working best for me in Mattercontrol using Matterslice. This vase is in ABS and took about 20 hours to print along with it's wipe shield. [img]http://www.perrydice.c...

Re: Duet and Multi-Color/Multi-Filament Extrusion
Here is Marvin again. This time in his wipe shield. The colors were better this time, but still not where they need to be. I may need to increase the layers from 2 to 3 to help with the color bleed through... [img]http://www.perrydi...

Re: Upgrading to Duet/Diamond
Thanks dc42. Reading more into Configuring and calibrating a delta printer using the dc42 fork of RepRapFirmware, I see where G30 S7 can be a problem. I readjusted M665 L269 in the config.g, changed my bed.g to G30 S6, and focused on getting my endstops physically (rather than through software) as c...

Re: Upgrading to Duet/Diamond
Still having a little issue with Dimensional Accuracy....Everything is a bit small by about .975. I'm working through 626pilot's post now to correct the issue. I'm sure its related to the M665 L parameter (diagonal rod length) being not quite right, and the auto calibration is not correcting the iss...
