The old SeeMeCNC mug (anyone still have the file?)
I remember this was one of my first prints off of my Rostock Max V2, it's ABS and definitely not water tight but it's awesome and very old. Does anyone still have the file? I want to print some more!

Re: Frustrated! Issues with vertical dimensional accuracy and layer shifting on first 5mm of layers
SOLVED!
I did:
Re-install firmware (Use Arduino IDE 1.6.0)
Find your proper delta dimensions in Configuration.h (updated config is very different from original for V2)
Upload and you're done!
Thank you for all the help!

Re: Vertical dimension calibration PROBLEM for Rostock max V2
I did that and it didn't change anything. I ended up resetting the firmware and starting from scratch with the most recent version. That removed the problem entirely. I noticed that the default Rostock Max v2 setting has the "Ball Joints" dimensions so I had to change that, some other delt...

Re: Vertical dimension calibration PROBLEM for Rostock max V2
I will try to change steps/mm, I have a second Rostock Max V2 so I copied over the arm length, but the problem still exists, the steps/mm should be proportional in (X/Y,Z) regardless.

[SOLVED] Frustrated! Issues with vertical dimensional accuracy and layer shifting on first 5mm of layers
I've been having a VERY strange issue with my Rostock Max V2 recently, the vertical dimensions are stretched and the first few layers are shifting in one direction. All of this after calibrating the bed as perfectly as possible? 15534559971278752800897799853940.jpg 15534571068511726051262453735306.j...

Re: Vertical dimension calibration PROBLEM for Rostock max V2
I believe it's like 97.(something) I'm not home right now but I adjusted it using calculations for dimensiobal accuracy after printing a 50mm test print and repeating the process. I think it could be the arm length but I used the correct lengths from.the manual

[SOLVED] Vertical dimension calibration PROBLEM for Rostock max V2
 Hey, so I've been having a bit of an issue, I calibrated the basic "x,y" axis for dimensiobal accuracy, but my "z" axis is still not properly in dimension, the first couple of layers also lean towards one side of the printer. No idea why this is happening, any advice? The ...

Re: EZR Struder fail
I did this:
AliExpress heatsink and thermal glue
(This is after trying the variable adjustments in the firmware and still having problems on longer/quick prints)

Somehow it corrected it's missteps????
Pretty sure my 1mm Z hop did this, combined with my wonky calibration problem (other post).
^ the print has 0 infill btw
