Re: Finished build, now 2 questions
Here's how I handled the extruder/hotend/thermistor wiring. I've left the wires extra long because I want to print a mount for a terminal block so the wires can be disconnected easily. I made the aluminum belt mount because I don't like the default option. http://colht.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/20...

Re: H-1.1 Extruder Tube?
I am still a little confused by the tubing. Does it go inside the hotend? I took mine apart and there's nothing in there. I've had trouble with clogging and low output so maybe that is why. The tubes are the right length to go inside the hotend so that's where the appropriate one belongs right?

Re: Finished build, now 2 questions
I'm trying to find the right locations for the endstops myself but I can help with the wiring. I used this diagram: http://reprap.org/wiki/File:Rambo-conn-all.jpg . For the steppers, I spliced longer 20ga wires (same colors) to the motor leads to make them all reach one corner of the printer plus ab...

Re: endstop mounting
Sorry for a slight hijack but the subject is endstop mounting :) Could somebody (or everybody) post pics of how and where they physically mount the endstop switches? I plan on placing the Z at max. For Y I am planning to put the switch in the front so homing gets the part out toward the operator. X ...

Re: h-1.1 extruder assembly instructions
After 3 days of trying I finally got the assembly manual downloaded. Almost done anyway but now I can double check the dimensions.

Re: h-1.1 extruder assembly instructions
That video was just what I needed. Thank you. Now I understand the offset bolt. I've been trying to download the H1 manuals but the .com site just slows to a crawl at about 10MB every time I try. The .org site is completely offline more often than not so it has been difficult to get all the files. C...

h-1.1 extruder assembly instructions
I'm starting my build but can't find any info on how to build the extruder. I found a pdf about the H1 extruder but there are some differences between the one in the drawing and my parts. I can't tell how the Extruder Base and the Lower Extruder Mounting Plate go together. It looks like a bolt goes ...
