Re: PRINTER STOPS MID-PRINT
Any ideas on this? Should I update my Repetier version? I've printed 3 of the same prints successfully with Repetier Host.

Re: PRINTER STOPS MID-PRINT
So I have a Rambo Board Version 1.1b and I am running Repetier 0.91. I tried running a print from the flash drive and it completed just fine. I am sure that the tablet or computer are not going to sleep. Also, I just got done running the same print on Repetier Host and it also finished just fine. It...

PRINTER STOPS MID-PRINT
So I have a rebuilt Rostock V2 conversion from a V1. I have been using the Matter Control Touch mostly and have had issues finishing prints. Part of the problem was the Matter Control Touch printing long prints. But I have been working with Matter Hackers on that; (separate issue) but that has been ...

Re: Little Hangers Killed Print
Thanks for the detailed description of potential issues Thom. I will have to read this a few times to let it all sink in. Up till now I've been tending prints with a tweezers.

Re: SeeMe Midnight Black ABS
The filament keeps making a cracking/popping sound (kind of like a campfire) occasionally when it's coming out of the nozzle.

Re: SeeMe Midnight Black ABS
I've found lower temps are working better around 215C with 80C bed. 25% fan (3 fan with bottomless shroads). 40 mm/s speeds for premiters and supports.
This stuff seems really soft it's more like PLA. IDK, I'm pretty new at printing.
Thanks.

Re: Printing Overhangs with PLA
All, thanks for the advice. I'll slow it down for overhangs and direct the fan on it. This part is for my RC truck. I designed it for a CNC machining operation, so you are correct about it's design intent. I'll make modifications or split it in half for future prints. Thanks!

Re: Printing Overhangs with PLA
I read your section on overhangs. Currently the way I have MatterControl setup is to print the exterior perimeter after the interior perimeter. Is there anything else I can do? I am using 3 of those 25mm squirrel fans with the open bottom shrouds. So i guess I'm a fan boy. Should I tone it down and ...

Printing Overhangs with PLA
I am printing a part with overhangs with PLA, see attached. The beginnings of the overhangs want to curl up like a flower petal. Is this from too much fan cooling? Or is it something else?

Little Hangers Killed Print
All, I was printing a 3X Yoda for a friend and the print went bad, see below; IMG_0077.JPG IMG_0080.JPG I am using SeemeCNC PLA at 200C and 60C bed temperature. I have 3 blower fans on as well. I get these little hanging things that end up sticking up and ruining the print. Does anyone have any sugg...

Re: Rostock V1 vs EF2 TORNADO!!!
Thanks for the feedback. I forgot to mention that 14 of the plastic parts were broken along with 3 of the arms. How is the full upgrade kit to the V2? I was kind of leaning that direction.... The full upgrade kit to V2 from V1 is your best, the least expensive option. Everything you would need are ...
