Re: clogged nozzle

The chamfers aren't the cause of the jamming. Molten plastic will flow right past those.

The most common cause of jams is related to printing too fast for the current hot end temperature. A failed cold-section fan can also be a factor.

You'll get that if the heat bed is on during probing or if the nozzle is dirty.

Look at the start & end gcode in Cura - if you're using a SeeMeCNC-built profile, it'll have the gcode in it for the retraction & priming of the filament.

Someone on the SeeMeCNC FB group worked out a mounting method. I *think* it involves increasing the center hole size on the SE300 PCB, but I'm not sure.

it will do that if it's near the bed while it's on, but shouldn't cause any issues during printing. The Duet will ignore the sensor input during printing.

PETG will absolutely bond to the PEI surface - you need to use a layer of glue stick when printing PETG on PEI.

Re: Rostock Max v3 only Duet upgrade?

Apologies for the late response. Traveling. :) If you want to supply your own hot end, like an E3D v6, you'll want the Smart Effector. If you want a plug & play solution, you should get an SE300 from SeeMeCNC - it's got the same strain gauge circuit as the Smart Effector, but also includes the h...

Re: Rostock Max v3 only Duet upgrade?

Having the Duet without either the SE300 or the Duet Smart Effector won't help you much. The huge benefit of the Duet is the auto-calibration that comes along with the strain gauge sensor that the SE300 and Duet Smart Effector use - it makes the nozzle tip a Z probe.

I would check the connectors at the power supply end - there might be a loose connection at the hot end wires.

I don't see anything obvious - I would check to make sure that the stepper motor connection for the Z motor is firmly seated. If it is, I'd reach out to support directly.

Re: BOSS Delta 300 - One Belt stops functioning

The X & Y values are kind of high - on my Boss 300, they're both at 0.4.

I would try deleting your config-override.g file and then re-run the calibration. If you still have the problem, post your config.g file and I'll see if I can spot an issue with it.

Delta calibration should be G32, not G35.

Can you post the contents of your homedelta.g file?

tnx.

if the hot end couldn't hit 280, you probably need to replace the heater cartridge.

The thermistor value will change with heat. Are you referring to the heating cartridge? It may need to be replaced, but I'd reach out to support first.

I would check to make sure that all your connections are solid - the connector on the HE280 can partially unseat sometimes.

There can be issues if the SSID for the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi interfaces are the same. Try adding a "-5" to the name of the 5Ghz interface.

Are you running the 3.4.4 firmware? If not, it cures a lot of weird little calibration issues - just make sure to no use the bed mapping function as that's still problematic. The instructions for that are here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IQf191FP7EgV8IRpa__jZviF_lfd1jcKVwHD2J7U9pw/edit?usp=...

There's something yeeted on the mail sending side and PM notifications don't go out via email, so it's entirely possible that PartDaddy doesn't even know he's got a PM. :)

Here's the instructions https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IQf ... share_link
It's for 3.4.4, the title isn't updated.

Sending PMs likely won't work quickly - fastest is to email [email protected] directly.

Re: New strangeness: Have to level/G32 every print now?

PartDaddy does recommend an update to 3.4.4, but don't use the mesh compensation. It causes issues sometimes.

I've had constant problems with my Rostock MAX v4 until I went to 3.4.4. It's been a lot better since then.
