Re: Repetier-Server 0.51.0
I did a print job completely by remote this morning. I had to go shopping so I setup a job and made the gcode file, I then imported the gcode to the beaglebone and told it to print. Went down to the shops and took the iPad and when the jobs was done it sent a message to mail system that the print jo...

Repetier-Server 0.51.0
I have installed it on Beaglebone Black and it is looking very nice.
I had 0.50.3 it first and had not quite got it configured completely. The newer version seems to be working well so far and I think I have got it fairly well set up.

Re: OctoPrint on Beagle Bone Black Rev C
I have just put Repetier-Server on it and it is going well, still configuring at present and getting some more networking hardware.
It is only beta at the moment but looks pretty good so far.

Re: OctoPrint on Beagle Bone Black Rev C
At this stage it will be the Rambo board. I had it running with raspian on the pi and video was woeful. I got the BBB today and I have successfully ssh'd to it and I am currently doing a bit of reading and deciding whether I install Angstrom or put the latest Debian because they now come with that n...

OctoPrint on Beagle Bone Black Rev C
I have not started doing anything with it yet, the hardware is on the way though.
I think the plan will be to install the angstrom version and carry on from there. If you are familiar with BBB and would like to help, please chime in

Re: Octoprint on Raspberry Pi performance issue
I just loaded OctoPrint on a BBB I recently picked up. My RPi has been having a bunch of "weirdness" - slow/not responsive, network connection dropping, etc. I'm wondering if my Octoprint one is just dodgy - I have another Pi running XBMC in the living room so I can watch MLB.tv and keep ...

Re: OctoPi setup for MAX via Mac OSX
I followed bubbasnow's great write up and made the changes to do this from a Mac. I don't think it requires as much extra/3rd party software installation via OSX. I followed mhackney's and bubbasnow's guides and it all works very well. I will have to get a powered hub and see if it makes any differ...

I have tried astroprint and octoprint with the pi and I would not mind trying yours when you get around to placing something online

Re: Monolithic Platform for E3Dv6 Hot End
No rush, printing is still fine with stock hotend :) I can just keep looking over at the E3d and wipe the drool every now and again :D What is preferred by everyone? 3 squirrel fan on the sides or 1 bigger fan with a duct surrounding the hotend? I will be going for the single duct and a bigger fan,...

Re: Monolithic Platform for E3Dv6 Hot End
This is my result, 1:42 print time. Overall happy with fit and finish, messed around with duct for layer fan so as not to be close/blow on heater block. Using 1/8 inch dowel to hold things in place. O.A.L. ended up at close to original due to the fact I wanted to print this as one piece using the o...

Thanks,
That was the power wires from the fan right?
Black and yellow to have 12 volts applied to them, I know there are other colours but we don't need them!
