Re: Printing stops!
Sure- I will take a few pics of the setup and right after it jams again. I just don't know why this would happen at the exact same spot every time- especially since nothing other than the hotend has been changed from the perfection it used to produce!

Printing stops!
Hi Everyone, I have a Rostock Max v2(with the older arms). I have always had great luck and constantly impressed everyone that saw the prints it knocked out. I moved it from my shop to my house and it sat at my house for a good 3 months before I got the print bug and set it all up again. I used the ...

Re: Odd printing on certain items!
I have another issue that I just realized- no matter what I print, it seems like the slot for the fan is too small and I have to file it, or if I printed legs for a tripod it doesn't quite fit... Well last night my friend printed the exact same file that I did and his tripod legs are half an inch lo...

Hi Everyone, I am having issues ever since I reflashed my firmware. Its driving me crazy, I can print one thing and its PERFECT, I then go to print something else and it looks like the images below! I have a Rostock Max V2 and am using MatterControl with MatterSlice as the slicer. As far as slicing ...

Re: Beta Tester Thread
I am definitely down to test this out! Being an Electrical Engineering graduate and working for a major pharmaceutical company as the Director of Biotechnology Systems, I think I could provide a thorough test!
I will watch for the form!

Re: Extruder Calibration
Hi Rampeh, Yes, I followed the manual to a tee and installed the latest firmware, i think .91? Something like that. I have continued to mess with the settings and actually think i have got it pretty good! Kinda hard to see the layers in this Glow in the Dark filament, but it really does look nice. [...

Re: Extruder Calibration
1. EXTRUSION AMOUNT TEST- What is the best way to make sure when I send the command to extrude 100mm it actually does 100mm? I tried marking the filament with a start and 100mm mark and lining it up to the top of the Bowden connector and hitting the +100. The thing that surprises me is that it only...

Extruder Calibration
Hi Everyone, First off, I did search for this topic and found some that looked like they were going to cover what I was going to ask but didn't quite cover it. Basically I have 2 questions- I have a 3 week old Max V2 1. EXTRUSION AMOUNT TEST- What is the best way to make sure when I send the command...

Re: Heatbed to 24V Question
Hi Dirk But my 24V-Source is constant current limiting. It will hold 24V and limiting to 10Amps max constantly. Should work I guess. If your power supply really is built for permantly limiting current, then that should be OK. The thing is, though, the only way the power supply can limit the current...

Re: Rostock Max V2 issue!
Hi Brian, thanks for the reply.
I actually ended up running new, larger wire from the bed to the RAMBO last night, I wasn't able to test it because I blew one of those nano fuses screwing with the power wires... Hopefully Radio Shack has those!

So I am having an issue... I made it through the calibration and everything is great.. When I go to actually print something, I slice it and send the file to the printer- the printer starts moving and then its almost like it resets. The LCD cycles through like you just turned it on and the printer s...
