Your exhaust fan is too big, you're probably cooling down your chamber way more than you need. The commercial printers use around 35c chamber temperature. Your logic is spot on, my point is that these high torque steppers cost a few bucks more, and you can take advantage of that torque with the parallel port driver as it goes up to and above 2.5A, but on RAMPS the motors work at a reduced capacity.
