Re: Newbie from NC here.
Thanks for the welcome guys. And for the tips TinyHead. Can I find that Elmers glue stick at Walmart? Id imagine they have crafting supplies / school supplies. I have been using blue painters tape but it sticks to the tape/glass like concrete. I have to use a knife carefully to remove the item print...

Re: Finished my build
Sorry for all the small starter questions but I have another.
Do I need to use the Elmers Glue Stick on the glass if printing in PLA?

Finished my build
Guys,
When I ordered my Rostock I also ordered some white PLA. I didnt know that I needed ABS first to print the fan mounts to the hot end.
Anything I can do with those fans besides wait for ABS to get here?
Does Staples carry ABS in stock?

Thanks for the link Dan,
I'll order some now. Just frustrating wanting to finish the build and can't because of this elusive tape.
Thanks again guys.

Kapton Tape
Hey guys, Before I started my build I put a tool box together for all the needed tools, but I have not been able to find Kapton tape. I figured I just pick it up somewhere locally and now wished I ordered it online. I can't find this tape anywhere and I am right in the middle of my build and need it...

Personally, I think this is a great community and the majority of users on here are eager to help others, or still learning, such as myself.
Thanks again, have a great weekend.

New build ATX power supply question
Guys, just starting my build tonight and I hate to admit I already have a couple questions. On the power supply, I separated the short and long wires and cut off these connectors on the long black and yellow wires, but i was short one yellow wire and had 1 extra black one. Do I just fold away the ex...

Re: New Max V2 build with Magnetic ball mod.
Thanks guys, I think you've adequately scared me away from doing the ball mod. :) Since I have no experience updating firmware settings, I can only imagine a nightmare trying to dial the arms into the proper settings. Sounds like what I need right now is experience with the build and prints before I...

New Max V2 build with Magnetic ball mod.
Hey guys, I am new to 3d printing and my V2 kit should be here soon. I have done alot of reading and research to mod the arms and effector with Xnaron's magnetic ball mod . A few of you have already made this mod and are seeing "night and day" differences in quality prints. The pictures of...
