And once you have chips in both sides you can move on to printing around the smaller ones!

You can also control the fan through the LCD. This can be helpful if you notice overheating while printing 'pointy' parts of an object, for instance. Also, I use a fan for all spiral printing with ABS.

The one time I used mattercontrol it somehow managed to clobber my EPROM settings, which resulted in this exact behavior. Had to reconfigure the whole printer.

Does it have to be around the part? You could add static gcode to prime the nozzle off to one side of the build plate...

I find Cura a poor slicer for 'round' objects such as that funnel. It seems to still be generating too many small line segments for the AVR processor on the Rambo to handle smoothly.
