When you do please make it open source I could use one of those as well.geneb wrote:Heh! What cracks me up is that you're the only guy to spot it. One of these days I'm going to build myself a face-palming machine just for those occasions when I REALLY stick my foot in it.

when you configure on the left side choose width of 25 and thickness of 25 single row slot and then choose anodized or black anodized. Packing list for Max v2 shows t slot rail 1" (25mm) square x 32" (812mm) long. Picked it up from ups today.

I want to say it falls into the 2525 extrusion. I'm going by the 1 inch size that is being sold on seemecnc.com parts section.

Re: Assembly manual discussion thread!
Okay I have a question about wiring the cooling fan for the Rambo in the assembly guide Fig. 18-6 shows the cooling fan being soldered in place to the board. But in Fig. 18-24 the Rambo is installed and it shows what looks like a 2 pin fan connecter instead of soldering in place. What type of connec...

Re: Lantys Rostock Max v2 Build
How far have you gotten? I'm up to page 121 and hit a road block. After attaching the hot end there are no instructions on what to do with the 26ga wires. There's a reference to using them for the PEEK and part fans, but nothing on where to mount them. Try downloading this manual again it has been ...

Re: 3D Printed Enclosure Mounts
Very nice! I had surrounded mine with lexan held together by velcro. My printer is by a window in my very drafty 200 year old house, so it needs something. But, my way is really ugly, (not to mention unstable) Mind if I copy you? -sandy If you mean my idea feel free to. I was just found some extrus...

Does anyone have the overall dimensions of the new V2? Looking mainly for height of new V2 to top cover not including spool holder and front from LCD to back of machine.

Re: 3D Printed Enclosure Mounts
I have yet to buy my printer but after reading the forums I've thought about making an enclosure as one of my first projects. So Here are my thoughts after mulling over several different designs. I want something strong and custom but matching the overall design of the printer. I'm thinking of using...
