Re: Failed RAMBO?
I uploaded that, still getting the fan on full time. If I send "M42 P6 S0" it still doesn't turn off.

Re: Failed RAMBO?
It does not look like it's grounding out to anything. No short in the harness. The LED that lights up when the fan is on is also lit full time. Even if I have the harness unplugged.

Re: Failed RAMBO?
Yes, it just comes on when the printer is turned on now. I've been searching the firmware to see what I should adjust. Do you know what setting to change it back to pwm or to only have it come on when the hot end is on?

Re: Failed RAMBO?
It should always be on, however, you had the ability to control the voltage by placing a value up to 255 in the gcode. It also meant that once the print was done at 2AM that the fans didn't sit running all night long. So something is a bit off that I need to address. It seems unfortunate to buy a ne...

Re: Failed RAMBO?
Upon replacing the fuse… The extruder fan does not turn off. The LED lights on that output and it does not respond to the Gcode that would turn it off and on. The extruder heat and other cooling fans now work as previous though, so that's something.

Failed RAMBO?
I have a stock rostock that I think the RAMBO has failed on. At the board outputs I have no power out for fans, PEEK fan, or hot end. The power to the bed works and both thermistors work and read. What seemed to kick all this off was the PEEK fan itself overheating and it looks like it shorted. The ...

Has anyone tried this feature? I see it in the instructions but not in the slicer. Any tips or suggestions? I have a V1 Rostock Max with a clamshell case and holster…

Infill Issues
OK, Not seeing anything close to this when I search through the forum. I am printing a part with solid infill. The perimeters line up perfectly. Each and every layer on top of the next. The infill is all over the map, and somewhat consistent. But no where near aligned with the perimeters. In fact, i...

Re: Auto Level - Auto Calibration Talk
So where in the software does one adjust that. I have been searching through the Arduino config and I'm not seeing it. Sorry for being dense.

Re: Auto Level - Auto Calibration Talk
What am I missing? Is the rotation adjustment just tweaking the height of the towers in software to obtain a differential between towers?

Not printing flat
So, If I calibrate the towers and radius so that each of the 4 locations is spot on. It still draws an arc. As I tried printing a larger object, anytime it got close to a tower it would dip into the surface and then immediately raise as it travels away. It's very consistent at this, If I try to run ...

Re: Trouble with the hot end I think
I am using the purple. I went back to blue tape, slowed it down for the first layer. This has been better for me than the glue stick. The very last part I got to stick with the glue stick broke when I was trying to separate it.

Re: Onyx is way hotter in the center compared to the edges
Two layers of heavy foil helped this immensely. Of course I had already placed Kapton over everything during assembly. Thanks for the quick tip.

Re: Trouble with the hot end I think
I currently am using the elmers glue stick (by happenstance my kids glue stick was sitting 6" from the machine when I had first read about it) I still have a hard time getting the first pass to stick. I got better results by slowing the machine to 10% for the first layer, but it still did it a ...

Onyx is way hotter in the center compared to the edges
Is it normal for the Onyx to get significantly hotter in the center Vs the edges? Was I supposed to Soldier the Vias? or just cover them with Kapton. I checked the Instructions and I don't think I skipped any steps. Since the Thermistor is in the center it just never gets more than luke warm around ...

Trouble with the hot end I think
I had everything up and working.... But then... After a couple hours into the print the hotend seems to overheat higher up. The Extruder starts to Skip, the PEEK is too hot to touch(Yes I have a fan on it), and it won't feed very much. I pause the print, G28, then I kick the hot end off and let the ...
