Re: Dual Extrusion PLA-PVA with S3D?

This isn't the original file, but it's one I've been using, and it's working well.

Got it from this guy on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/SeeMeCNCUsers/?post_id=2277757592469546

I've been building larger and larger Rockets, so the BOSS Delta seemed like the next logical step in my craziness This is a 1/20th scale Saturn V rocket. outer shell is 100% 3d printed. I will laminate it to a carbon fiber airframe approx 18" in diameter. That is...

Re: Artemis with Duet Filament Runout Sensor

Also see duet sells a “laser” filament detector too....

Instructions are here: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Duet3dFi ... serVersion

For £25, I might have to try it.

Re: Artemis + Y-Adapter + Simplify3D

I realize I'm late to the party on this one, but you don't need a tool change script here at all with S3d. You need two "processes" One process is for Tool 0, and one process is for tool 1. you just assign each process to the "part" you want for each color. in the FFF setting for each process, you w...

Re: Micron eme all metal hot end for Rostock

Lot's of opinions, and a few very good points...... I didn't even notice the thermistor was on the OTHER SIDE of the heating cartridge from the nozzle - what were they thinking? At first, I liked the concept of being able to pull the entire filament path out of the hot end without having to disassem...

Flateric, can you provide a link to the ceramic paste that you refer to?

Best high temperature ceramic (and non ceramic) putties / adhesives are made by cotronics. http://www.cotronics.com/vo/cotr/ca_putties.htm . Very expensive, and WAY overkill for this application - they can withstand molten metal. Stick with JB Weld.

Re: ORION Logo Contest

Please don't take offense at this, but maybe you should have a contest for your company logo :>
