SOLIDWORKS FOR $20

Postby LASERMAN » Sun Dec 20, 2015 8:30 am

Greetings all!

If you are ex-military, you can get a copy of SOLIDWORKS student for $20! It's available on their web site.
Just thought I'd share the info for those who didn't know. I sent them a copy of my DD-214 and the application, and they sent me a link to buy it.

Thanks for sharing the tip! I served in the military in the 70's for 6 years, we will see if that works.
The link for the pdf that describes the program is : http://files.solidworks.com/pdf/EDU_MVP_2013.pdf

That is a good point that I did not think of. I'll contact them and see if there is another form of proof of military service that they will accept. Thanks!

I often wondered what the word redact meant, now that I was forced to look it up I finally understand.
Thanks for giving me the gift of google.

BubbaSnow, I hear that the FBI and the CIA are looking for a few good men that already know how to use a black highlighter.
