V2 with Duet and smart effector

Ok so I decided that since I had finished grad school I needed to get the v2 that I had pieced together calibrated and running. I have upgraded the arms to the newer ball and socket 290 arms, Duet 2 board and the smart effector with v6 hot end. I have tried the setup several times and the auto calibrate but for some reason I cannot get this thing calibrated. I did try a test print but the x tower is substantially lower than the others. I am not sure how to solve this. Could somebody give me a better write up? Could I use V4 firmware as a starting point?

Can you post your config.g file?

There is no "v4 firmware" - RepRapFirmware isn't like Repetier Firmware. With RRF, 100% of the configuration is done with G and M code commands and there's no need for any firmware changes. That being said, what version of the firmware is reported by the web interface?

The steps/mm for the Extruder is completely bonkers if you've got the EZStruder on your machine. :)

Can you post the bed.g file as well? Sorry I forgot to ask for that earlier. :(

Did you create a bed map by chance? If you haven't, add "M375" to the end of your config.g file (this will load the bed map when the printer starts up) and then create a new macro called "Bed Map" with the following contents:

Run the map and then try a print. Note that it's going to show you the results of the mapping operation, but it should compensate for any height differences when you print (that's the whole point behind the map).

So do I included the M114 at the end of the bed file?

Also You mentioned the extruder speed is nuts? Could you suggest a starting value? And after I run the bed map, then I run M500 and print correct?

There is no M114 at the end of the bed file. The file I pasted should be used as-is. You'll notice it also includes the M500 to save.

The extruder is going to be 182.0 if you're using .9 degree steppers.

I am using 1.8 steppers from seemecnc site. So would I halve the value?

It'll be around 94.6 I think. You can use the extruder calibration process in the v2 docs to nail down the exact value.
