Help with Power Supply Wire Cutting

Postby brdsheen » Sat Jan 23, 2016 2:43 pm

SO.... I bought the Droplit Kit from MatterHacks and am up to the part on the power supply where you cut two black and two yellow wires. These wires are connected onto the position terminal block along the edge of the gShield. The black wires go into the position marked “GND” and the yellow wires go into the position marked “Vmot”. But the power supply that came with my kit was from diablotek, and am having trouble finding these wires. If you can identify them in the pictures marked below I would be very grateful. THANKS YALLS. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

yellow is 12v, red is 5v, orange is 3.3v all in DC. if you only need 2 yellow/black i would cut them from 4 in your first picture, and leave the remaining wires safely insulated in the connector.
