There's been much about failed PTC fittings, other methods of securing the bowden tube, etc...
Just thought I'd share my quick fix.
Simple little printable c-ring/e-clip that prevents the fitting from moving during retracts. It also reduces some hysteresis (obviously not a lot, but every little bit helps)
1 for E3D fittings
1 for the Mcmaster replacement for the stock fittings.
Installed on my machine...
I printed in ABS, 50% infill, .25 layers. Took 2 minutes to print 2. Done and done.
