H1 firmware and wiring

Ok, so I finally got the hardware assembled on my H1... and I think everything is good on it. I'm not sure if the z-axis is working as smoothly as it should be yet, but I'll have to test it. I can turn it fairly easily with my fingers on either of the z-axis gears and both turn, although the left side squeaks a little. But if I just grab the belt and pull it.. it seems harder for some reason lol. I think the motor is going to be able to turn it without any troubles, but we'll see.

Anyway... the controller board I have is a Sanguinololu 1.3a. Looking at the information here: http://reprap.org/wiki/Seemecnc_h1#Electronics it points to johnoly99 github for firmware. However when I go there: https://github.com/johnoly99 I don't see anything that says it's firmware for the H1. I do see Repetier firmware that says it's for RepRap based 3d Printers controlled by arduino: https://github.com/johnoly99/Repetier-Firmware I'm assuming that is the firmware I need? I think this sanguinololu board came with Sprinter firmware installed because it's got a little label on the Atmega644P that has Bootloader, Sprinter, and Test all checked.

The wiring seems fairly straightforward. I do have two questions though. First, this Saguinololu came with 3 mechanical stop switches. Which sides of the H1 should these be on? Are they used to help the board find position 0,0,0.. or are they supposed to be the limit positions... I can't find anything on the documentation site to reference where to install them other than a mention that they are supported by the board lol. Second question, the power connector for the tip heater (resistors) has 4 pins on it. Everything I've read said the resistors should be wired in parallel so I only need 2 pins. Is 4 pins provided so that I could wire the two resistors separately at the board instead of wiring them together at the tip? Or am I misunderstanding how the resistors should be wired?

Sanguinololu -- I've no experience with that particular board. http://reprap.org/wiki/Sanguinololu will hopefully tell you what specifics you need to know.

I can't answer your connector question directly -- I'd think which pins you use will depend on the pinout of the Sanguinolou. The resistors are indeed meant to be in parallel, however you choose to do it.

Firmware -- What you found should work, even if it is an old version. Or you could also use a current version of Repetier. Or Sprinter, Marlin, or whatever. In oly's old version some of the configuration may already done for you.

End stop switches. You're left to your own devices on how to mount them and where to put them, or to have them at all. (Without them, you'll have to manually home the printer before starting a print.)
Typically they're used as limit switches on each axis to find a home position. Pick a spot where they're cleanly activated near the end of travel on each axis.
