Ok... forget that: yes my LCD is blank, but as the printer only prints dry runs now - I obviously have a more fundamental issue :D

Prety much went round in a big circle - learned a bit, and arived back at the beginning with the SeeMeCNC firmware, so I recon I must have treaked a veriable that was happier untweaked. Only now the hot end consistantly maintains a temperature that's 5 deg lower than the target - probably another inapropriately tweeked setting.

This fault chasing is pretty good fun, not sure what I'm gonna do with myself once I've got it printing the way I want... :D

If wanted, I can upload my build based on the latest Repetier devel branch. LCD is working just fine and you can just tune your settings from mine. The advantage is not having to worry about the freeze during print bug.

Here you go!

Tested with Arduino IDE 1.0.5

Just copy over your delta settings, speeds, etc, although as set, I am getting nice results. I have enabled the hotend/Peek fan to run automatically if above 40C in temperate or when turned on. This means it will run for awhile after a print job completes.

...Realy should learn to not say things like that even in jest - one of my hydraulic couplings failed last night, bit of a shame as it's not even a month old... Fortunately there's a hydraulics place round the corner. So back up and running this morning and time to take ccavanaugh's kindly donated firmware build out for a test drive. Thanks again - I'll try not to scratch it :D
