Max v.3.2 dimensions off in one direction

Post by Cad-man » Mon Jan 14, 2019 10:38 am

I have a v3.2 that prints great well almost. when printing a 20X20 calibration cube the z height and X sides are very close but the Y side is off by .5mm
if i scale the cube up to a 40X40 the error scales with it. Z is spot on X is 40.04mm and Y is 41.2mm. does anyone have any ideas ?

If the scaling error is linear then you can use the M579 command in config.g to correct it, see https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/GCode#Se ... esian_axes. However, scaling errors are often caused by factors that don't cause uniform scaling; so I suggest you try larger test cubes too.
