Hola - DC area checking in!

Post by DDXdesign » Sat Apr 06, 2019 1:31 pm

I'm Dave - a govt contractor by day and a designer/illustrator/maker/geek/musician by night. Got into 3D printing just over 3 years ago - my now ex-wife bought me a little XYZ DaVinci Jr machine and it's taken off from there. I still have that machine albeit not working at the moment, plus I have a DV Jr Pro that has been awesome, a MP Maker Select V2 that a friend gave me after giving up on it (Still have one more thing to try to get it working well enugh to use), and just got a RostockMaxV4 for its increased speed and build volume, after trying and failing miserably with a CR10S Pro and a MP Maker Pro (wanhao D9). Figured the SMCNC would be worth the extra money and so far it is!

Most of my 3D prints are functional; I've developed a few products I sell, mainly for guitar and bass players (I'm a bassist mainly myself). DDXdesign.com if you'd like to have a look.
