There are a lot of possible troubleshooting tests but let's start at the very beginning and that is the USB cable, have you tried a different one? Hello Eaglezoar tried that and used a different extension for my usb and a different Usb cable and issue persisted. when trying to move the machine manu...

Re: A few bits testing out new filament

Yeah gave them all a shot, glue sticks was the worse hairspray did pretty good but ABS juice is by far the best at limiting the warpage.

A few bits testing out new filament

Been testing out some new filament from jagprint. A less expensive option from what's out there on the market. The company still has some adjustments to make but it's descent stuff. Still need to do some better extruder calibration http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm22/tc3jg/3D%20print/63B97FF9-9E...

Re: Not good could have been worse

Looks good for a first print. You may want to increase the number of bottom fill layers to help smooth them out. You got it to print, that is the first part. How did you get the extruder to push the filament through? After Adding a lot of force by hand for about 40 CM of filament I just plugged eve...

Re: Not good could have been worse

Wish I had a test print for you Eaglezoar now I'm having some feed issues. The extruder motor is grinding into the filament as it tries to feed. Not sure if not having a peek fan is playing a role or if its just cheap dried out filament.

Re: Not good could have been worse

Eaglezsoar I've run into my first snag following Genes instructions after I messed up the settings on my printer. Im calibrating it now and am at the step where I send the G28 Command and its suppose to go up to the end stop switch. When I give the command it just moves up about 3cm. Does not go all...
