Re: when does my LCD come on?

I've just started calibrating my printer and have been so busy looking at Repetier, that I just noticed my LCD is not showing anything. Is the LCD supposed to come on as soon as I power the printer? If so, how do I isolate the problem between the LCD, Adapter, or board? if you have it connected cor...

Re: Polyetherimide Bed for Easy ABS Release

Anyone tried polyetherimide sheeting over their borosilicate glass when printing ABS? ABS is supposed to adhere to this material really good when its heated and release easily when it's cooled down. Here's a few links: (Note the 2 reviews on Amazon praising this material for 3D printing with ABS): ...

yes, if you have the mosfet turned on. (ie heater circuit, hotend circuit. whatever).. just applying power to it wont do anything. its digitally controlled.

Re: Power Supply wont come on

Pilot I also now have 26.3 volts on the power block at all 3 checks. It must have been a short in the switch that did it and when I checked the switch I must have had enough pressure on the meter leads to push them together to get the 10.2 volts across the switch. Oh what a relief, lost a whole wee...

Re: Test Thermocouple

I agree with eaglezsoar. I tested my thermocouple meter against 100c boiling water and my temps were not that far off, maybe a degree or two. I never even bothered to do 0c test.

my thermocouple meter manual only suggest to calibrate against 100c boiling water.

Re: Thread Locking Compound

this shouldn't be optional, its a must to prevent those screws from undoing themselves, which they will overtime. threadlocker will prevent this from happening and save you a bunch of troubleshooting time later on.

Re: Strange STUTTERING on complex parts

so why it doing this now?? i've been printing for a month or two now with no issue and now its doing the stop and go motion.

ive turned down the feedrate and flow rate sliders many times, and it never did this. so what causes this to happen all the sudden.

Re: Strange STUTTERING on complex parts

mine does this also, i thought it was computer running programs in the background like virus scanners so i shut it off. it helped a little but it still doing it.

so maybe there's other programs running int he background i need to shut off.

i'm also running i7 processor.

Re: Captain Jack's Rum-Max build!

If your positive all your wiring is right, it might be a bad lcd. I had the same problem.
you might have to send to seemecnc so they can check it, if its bad they'll send you a new one.
