Re: Yet another Duet-to-HE280 accelerometer probe adapter

Yes, that's exactly what this can do. I am working on a complete documented process for converting a V2 or V3 to a Duet including printable mounts and pigtails to make the conversion from RAMBo really easy. Give me a few more days, I'm almost done. I'll wait patiently.... I have a new Duet WiFi and...

Hi Zob, I am from Melb in Aus and you feel a bit like a bit of an explorer at times and freight and things but..... I have Rostock Max V2 that probably is nearer to a three with all the mods I done to it, wouldn't change it to another type though. Next mod will be a Duet controller with a display pa...

This is looking interesting too. I have just ordered a Duet WiFi, a 7" Display and the IR probe board... Not here yet but they have sent it, ordered mine from England. Not sure which way to go at the moment because I do have a HE280 that is working well at present! This upgrading business is a ...

There's a few outstanding issues that need to be resolved before it's generally available - and it'll require a specific version of the firmware in order to work.

Re: V2 HE280 upgrade issues.

I read were some people after the conversion use the V2 configuration and some use the V3 configuration in configure.h. The problem I found with using the V2 is that it will limit the hot end tmp to 240c. There may be other problems that I have forgotten about. I found the problem using the V3 prin...

I have been in contact with GeckoTek and they are willing to do some mods and give me one to test... in Australia :) but I don't know that he knew where I was from. Anyway the end story is they did not have any Rostocks to do trial fittings on so make sure you send details of the number of holes tha...

Just installed a GeckoTek build plate (with magnets to affix the HT build surface) and doing a test print of four planter/pen storage items. No glue stick or hair spray needed. GeckoTek3D.com to get more info and I am not affiliated with the company, I just like their product. The build plate is abo...

3mm are the smallest I could find so that's what I got. A pack of 10 on Amazon. Before everyone goes off and does this I'd wait a week until a few of us/me verify that it actually solves the problem. Cutting the heat shrink around the connector in order to insert the bead is a one-way change and yo...

Yup, you are on my list! I am going to pick up some Ferrite beads tomorrow and see what happens. I've spent a LOT of time investigating mechanical reasons for this but have come up empty. Perhaps miaviator is on to something. Did you get the ferrite beads yet and if you have did they make a differe...
