Re: Mhackney's Rostock Max

Here is the mount with the tail on it (underneath) that goes into the hole where the leaf used to be bolted to.

Re: Mhackney's Rostock Max

Thank Michael... That was how I had it :) Last check mine were at usps in Miami and I have done the printing already so it's just hurry up and wait! Is there any particular reason that a peg could not be put under the FSR Mounting that would locate them under the leaf where the 3 bolt holes are? I k...

Re: Mhackney's Rostock Max

Yep... I have ordered the kit from Ultibots. So you just screw the three pads onto the three of the mounting holes on the plate and the opposing holes are just bolted together to hold the top plate on. Is there a piece of stuff on the FSR, looks like some tape or... So in other words, the plate appe...

Re: S3D version 3.0.1

Well I have a dedicated tablet with windows 8.1 and that is what I have been printing from with simplify 3d and I have only had the one stoppage with 3.0. Seems to be okay with 3.0.1 so far…

I can use the card but I don't need to yet...

Re: S3D version 3.0 is out

Had my first crash last night. Got up this morning to half done printout of lamp and the PC was off and that is very unusual, I think the writing may have been on the wall. It did not like the preview of the part because it only did half of it. I should have done a reset then! Repowered and it appea...

Had to put the E3D on it, the seemecnc one started to leak around the insulator.... Been flat out making Victorian Lamps :)

Re: S3D version 3.0 is out

Hi, I went out and spent some money for a licence now that version 3 is here... First thing I had to do was replace the leaky old seemecnc hot end with a new e3d one. I have just been doing some experiments with different cpu's and pc's and I think it runs better on a windows winbook than the mac. I...

Re: Repetier-Server

Well I have the printer all going so well running the Repetier-Server and Windows and merrily building lamps when the hot end decides to be a little difficult and ooze some black stuff from the insulator. I was planning on changing it to an E3D.... So I am busy changing the hot end.... :)

Re: Repetier-Server

Well you have done about all you can do.

My next thing will be to try Octoprint on the rpi2 just to prove that it can be made to work without errors (if it works) and then I'll go from there again. I would really like it to work with repetier-server though!

Re: Repetier-Server

I have experienced the same and worse with my Banana Pro(little more power than RPi2). It uses minimal CPU but still has waits, or even worse, it'll completely crash and the printer will just stop and stay hot until I go stop it - one time overnight. I have also had it switch to extruder 2 and keep...

Re: Repetier-Server

That's a bit of a shame. I have gone off the Pi2 for the time being until there can be something worked out with the wait(s) that keep happening. I have been running it flawlessly on Windows 8.1 on the Winbook. Just done a couple of 20 hour print jobs without any problems and it really looks nice no...

Re: New confused Mid Missouri user

Couple of simple things to check first.

If you have successfully printed from your Mac then it was working at sometime!

Do you still have the Rambo driver loaded?

What settings have you got the printer at, can you communicate with it?

Re: New confused Mid Missouri user

What type of Mac?

Have you loaded a Rambo driver?

Are you setup with repetier host?

Answer these questions and we should be able to help :)
