Re: 24v Accessories
i am building new printer to be 24V only, 24v fans are not too problematic to find, 24v heater cartrigdes too, etc. Only if you'll want water cooling - i haven't seen many 24v pumps, that's why my current printer have converter.

I have updated my file on Thingiverse, added older version without EL hoop support (but with better LED ring support because outer holes are free there), and added link to EL hoop. Link is same http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1128037

Re: Best print bed surface for Nylon?
Garolite works so well that you can barely remove the part. For parts with a large bottom surface area you have to mask the garrote with blue tape to keep the part from sticking so firmly - but then you might end up with earning issues. @Eaglesoarz, Taulman recommended poplar wood and garolite for ...

Re: Trick Laser MAX METAL Build
I love that! Time for an upgrade... I've always had difficulty fine tuning belt tension. I've designed and tested a simple tensioner that slips over the tops of the idler brackets and lets you use a pair of jack screws to fine tune the belt tension. You will need to replace the existing idler screw ...

teoman wrote:Very good question.
The thin one that everyone bought needs adhesives. Bot is using 3mm without adhesive so i took his advice. If it doesn't work i can always stick it or buy thicker / thinner.
it's expensive to buy new sheet every time

Re: Interesting new Diamond hotend 3x filament
Thank you! I am going to make another version with attaching to outer holes of TL effector instead of inner ones (actually, universal - outer or inner or both kind), because EL ring I'm going to use for getting light doesn't fit now. Screw heads would be gone from bottom surface of effector too, so ...

If someone going to print or (re)design mount, please wait week or two if you can, package from mhackney is coming, and I'll check one I've designed, I like it and hope you'll like it too Oh, looks like it takes whole month. But I did it. WP_20150910_22_59_51_Raw.jpg WP_20150910_23_20_28_ev4_Raw.jp...
