Re: Octoprint, any opinions on it?

Hello! First of all, Octoprint is great. It's wonderful. I am using it on Intel Edison instead of Raspberry, so you could call it OctoEd =) You can expect the same kind of quality as Cura in all terms, because there are builtin Cura slicing engine support. I don't care for MatterControl too much. Bu...

Diamond should be great. Why not to support them on Kickstarter? You still have enough time.

Kraken is great too, but it isn't easy for me to properly level it. But I wouldn't sell it, sorry

Re: How to Download Firmware Settings From RS Max V2

If you only need a backup for restoration without changes, you could find ISP port on your board, and use Atmel Studio (it's free) to read flash, fuses and eeprom data, and then restore. If you need to get firmware settings, you could download exactly that version of firmware, then read firmware as ...

That's from their FAQ:
In the beginning we had some smaller issues with clogging but after we
changed form E3D v6 to E3D lite6 the clogging issues were gone and the
print quality stayed the same.

It would be wonderful if you'll add a slot for the wiring! If you'll do it, when could we expect Frame V2? Will it have any other changes we should wai...

Re: Printing with Line trimmer

Have tried TL on 10 mm garolite sheet. Bed was 90 (I have wanted to try 60 but forgot to change it), hotend was 260. There almost was no adhesion! Even skirt has been untached. Then I've tried some sanding, and i've got almost same adhesion as i have with ABS on PEI (which was very good). sQF7IrslXh...
