Can I get a video of this filament joining process in action? Everytime I try it the bond just breaks as soon as I remove it from the tube.

Just try and keep the politics and religion out of it, don't wanna split the audience. We all have our own views but it is best if we keep them to ourselves, after all this is a robotics forum, not reddit or dailykos or breitbart or whatever.

Re: Help with printing prosthetic sockets

A question. If you're scanning for an accurate model of the stump, then carving or printing a female form to fit it, what's the advantage of the high tech approach over taking a female cast, making a male plug and drape forming (vacuum or even epoxy impregnated fibre mat) a cup over that? Is it tim...

Dyna Myte 2400 conversion to Smoothieboard

Is this possible? I have access to one with a burned out controller board and would like to swap it out so that it can run G code but I don't have any idea where to look to get a tutorial for something like this. How much more difficult would it be than putting the Rostock Max together?

Re: MuggsMAX

Quick question: Is there any difference/benefit to using 3mm vs 1.75mm filament? I have a Lulzbot TAZ 5 and a fair amount of 3mm filament, but is there a good reason to build my Delta to use 1.75 or stay with 3mm? 3.0 mm filament is easier on the extruder motor and if you stay consistent you will h...

so 225 at 2.5 mm/sec didn't give a good enough result? Should I bump it up to 235 and go even more slowly?

Re: Redneck Engineering T Glase with Budaschnozzle

Jfettig, I wound up having to go 2.5 mm/sec at 225 nozzle temp to get the print you can see here: viewtopic.php?f=80&t=8207&p=68569#p68569
