That's a big shed Gene, good luck in getting it built before it rains. When you get a chance stop by Ohio and help me build mine. :)

Re: LCD goes blank when power supply fan comes on

Nylocke is correct that noise on the LCD wires can be a source of problems on the LCD display and SD card reading.
There are flat, fold-able ferrite cores that can put on the wires to the LCD.
They cost $2.70 each and you would need two of them. Here is a link,

I do hope that you have this problem resolved with the fuse, this can happen if a wire touches something that it should not, check your connections, especially at the hotend.

I agree with Noventix by checking the contrast control.
This really sounds like a defective lcd board or cables plugged in wrong.
You have not removed the cables lately have you?

Re: RostockMax V2 Calibration Issue Thermistor Fail

The /only/ time the firmware will report "def" on the thermistor display is if one of them is broken, shorted, or isn't connected. It has nothing to do with the fan cooling, lack of heat, or PID values. replacing the thermistor took care of the def reading. auto tune is still failing. Get...

Even without a picture you are most likely using the old arms and the old cheapskates.
You can purchase the new cheapskates and the latest ball end arms at Seemecnc.com

Re: Hello from Las Vegas NV

I would definitely try another slicer such as Cura and see if the results change. Slicers have very specific settings and if the settings are not correct for the printer all sorts of problems can be seen. Thank you for buying the Eris and I know that you can enjoy good prints with the proper slicer....
