Re: Help required please with Horizontal Radius on Orion Delta

Hi,

Avoid software leveling, such as within MatterControl. Level the machine itself.

The following wizard works very well. Just follow the instructions.

Re: Live from Detroit.........well, just a bit North anyways

I'd begin with the assembly manual at the link above. Original documentation from us. Track down wiring and check for short circuits, etc. > The LCD could just be plugged in wrong, you can't fry it even if you plug the two plugs in wrong, however they only work one way. > Ultimachine might repair th...

Re: Live from Detroit.........well, just a bit North anyways

Hi grindliner, that's a great deal. The RAMBo control board and motors along are worth it. Power it on and see what the screen says.

Follow the original guide here: https://www.seemecnc.com/pages/downloads

You can get this machine printing great with ball joints carriages, arms, if it doesn't have them. Welcome to the forum.

Re: Artemis Field Service Bulletin Ground Kit Aug 23rd 2018

While I respect this change as a SAFETY modification (& I WILL do it) I would like to know if it will reduce electrical noise and may thereby solve other (perhaps intermittent) problems. Again, I WILL DO THIS when the parts arrive, but I am still troubleshooting my initial build and would like ...

Artemis Field Service Bulletin Ground Kit Aug 23rd 2018

We have issued a Field Service Bulletin (FSB) for the Artemis. Artemis owners will be receiving an email today, August 24th, 2018. All Artemis shipped between November, 2017, and August 23, 2018, need to have additional grounding hardware installed. Starting Monday, August 27th, 2018, we will begin ...

SE300 Hotend Whip Strain Relief and Routing

The white two pin plug supplies power to the heater through the connection on the SE300 hotend. The white plug (Phoenix connector) can come apart from too much wiggle caused by print head movement and the bowden tube and wiring connections. The solution is reducing or eliminating any wiggle or movem...

I did not have time To red everything here. But if you are switching from FSR to The Strain gauge hot in the probe then you must rigidly mount your bed or it will not work.

Artemis Linear Rail Mainentance

Ok, we've tested a huge number of lubricants on the Artemis linear rails and this is turning out to be the best. Only started using it today, but right after applying several drops, this oil is performing noticeably better than other lubricants. Wipe rails, apply several drops above carriage on both...

We have not submitted profiles yet so our printers show in the list. So you make a "custom" printer. The guide JJ wrote will show you how.

Re: Printing Suggestions?

I used straight up "SeeMeCNC" Cura profiles downloaded form our github.com/seemecnc for HE280. My guys perfected, with the exception of checking raft and support everywhere. See the Cura photo above, I highlighted these changes. Then your screen slice should look like mine. Of course, diff...

Re: Printing Suggestions?

Ok, don't criticize me too much on part clean up, I was rushed some. I'd skip "roof" setting under support in Cura for PETG, this part. It works really good on PLA parts. Atomic Filament. Here's an 8 pound (4kg) Eris hanging off the small nub feature of the AIWB part. Atomic carbon fiber b...

Is this your invention? What is the annual volume, 1k, 100k, or 1M's of parts? What surface finish is required? Are higher finishes required on only one side or face? Color? Can fillet radiuses (or corn radiuses change slightly), draft, or minor thickness changes? I pull a straight wall sometimes, b...
