Re: Help! Odd Behavior, can't calibrate suddenly

Thanks you teoman for the link! Really helped, I think it's the motors as the problem is exactly the same and everything else is good on my printer. Luckily I have 4 extra's so will likely change the Z tower motor. I've had it since the Kickstarter so I imagine 1 or more motors are going since I've ...

Re: Help! Odd Behavior, can't calibrate suddenly

Thank you, yes checked that first tightened them hasn't helped, looks like I'll have to take the belts off and thoroughly check everything.

Re: Help! Odd Behavior, can't calibrate suddenly

Thanks so much Ben, took each joint and rod off cleaned rods and arms reassembled, same problem.
I was so sure it would do the trick as they were almost all dirty but to no avail. Even after 2 calibrations for center and XYZ axis it still does the exact same thing.

puzzled. :/

Help! Odd Behavior, can't calibrate suddenly

Hello! I was printing fine, then suddenly on next print, the Nozzle wasn't moving flatly across the Onyx bed, 1st layer won't print evenly, towards Z it pushes into the glass removing some of the glue stick glue Note I have the first of the Rostocks but upgraded the Onyx over a year ago. This is a s...

Re: EzStruder doing strange quick retracts :(

I feel like a right Git wasting everyone's time. I cleaned the J-Head now everything is fine, something must have been in the filament, the jumping was caused by the blockage. Never had any blockage before after going through about 10 rolls of filament so far. thanks for all your help! That Quad ext...

Re: EzStruder doing strange quick retracts :(

Thank you guys so much! I actually do have a fan on it but its mounted by the USB port pointing at the board on the other side I'll move it. I actually was running a 6 hour print before. then went to another one after 30 minutes. What code do I look for regarding the voltage? I've been looking in co...

Re: EzStruder doing strange quick retracts :(

Does this skip during printing a line or perimeter not while Travelling I only use abs. What is causing this skipping? Makes no sense. I only use Cura now as I've used others and never get as good results. It's also not printing some perimeters smoothly kind of a slow studdering After the Arduino up...

EzStruder doing strange quick retracts :(

Has anyone experienced the EZ sturdier doing very quick jumps while printing where it's not needed? Mine keeps doing this don't know what's causing it. It's a quick jerking sound, the motor is turning backwards very fast then resumes. It's not retraction, my settings are about 6mm and speed around 3...

Ezstruder breaking filament

Hello! I just installed an Ezstruder ( was using Steves extruder ) It's much better except it's broken filament at around the hobbed gear twice already and ruined a print twice. I have it aligned pretty good, double checked it. The Filament was working fine with Steve's extruder. The print has alot ...

Thanks all but it's no where there that I can find. I can't open dxf files also.
Thingiverse doesn't have anything that looks like the parts in the manual
Parts 70778 and 70779

I emailed Seemecnc maybe they have it
thank you!

EZSTRUDER mounting plate?

Hello I just bought an EZSTRUDER but there was no mounting plate with it so I can't use it.

Is there an stl file I can download to print one? I have the original Side spool holder I'd like to be able to just connect the EZstruder to that.

many thanks!

Re: Any way to improve parts where supports connect?

Water soluble supports??? Wow never heard of that, sounds pretty amazing!

Have to see what support there is for adding this on the Rostock max, I haven't even seen a picture of dual extruders on it though I've seen the add a sturder kit.

Any way to improve parts where supports connect?

Hey folks. I'm wondering if there is any way to improve parts where supports connect? My supports stick to the object and I have to sand them off. Some parts I'm making, it's hard to sand into small holes. Is there a trick to not have the supports stick to the model so it has a cleaner finish? thanks!

Re: Repetier 091 for Rostock MAX now available

Actually you made me realize, I just bought a new 3.2ghz Quad core computer actually it's my first print from it. I migrated all my data so it's like the previous computer where I left off, but I'm wondering if that's the issue. I'l try reinstalling the 0.91 like I did originally hopefully that will...

Re: Repetier 091 for Rostock MAX now available

I bought the first set of Rostocks didn't have the sd card option

I just made an order for the ezstruder and J-head mound last week.
The 0.91 update was supposed to stop this so I didn't.

YEEEE HAAAAWWW!!!! Thank you all so much! :D

I recalibrated and reversed the extruded motor setting and it's printing a print that always
stopped on me. Hopefully it works this now!

Motors sound much smoother now too, working great so far!
Happy Day! :D

Some recent prints with the Rostock Max

Here are some things I have made with the Rostock Max. Most items with holes needed sanding afterwards until I recently figured out better settings and upgraded hot end. Patiently waiting the 0.91 firmware build as I'm having my printer stop on complicated prints all the time now, would like to get ...

Re: Repetier Firmware 0.91 officially released

Is there a build of 0.91 for the Rostock Max anywhere yet? ie. Where I just change my config.h settings and everything else is set for the Max?
I can't use the config tool, too much info to fill in that I don't know and the Master didn't work.

Re: Repetier Firmware 0.91+ FORK

Thank you , so I just tried that twice.
