Re: Stepper motors just stopped working?

You might want to check the screw terminals on the power input connector. I'd also check the power supply output voltage.

Re: Stepper motors just stopped working?

Keep in mind that you need to remove those fuses to test them - you can get a false "good" if you test them while they're installed.

Re: Stepper motors just stopped working?

Check the fuses on the RAMBo. It's going to be one of the micro fuses - I don't recall which one though.

Try increasing the printing temp around 5 degrees and see how that goes.

Re: heat break stuck

Look at the speed settings for Cura. Are you using one of the SE300 configuration profiles from SeeMeCNC's git repo?

This may help: http://download.seemecnc.com/SeeMeCNC%2 ... 0Guide.pdf

Re: heat break stuck

"the heat break stuck" doesn't really make any sense to me. I'm assuming you're getting some kind of jam after the first few layers? The most frequent cause of jams is either printing too fast for the temperature you're set at, or trying to print at too cold a temperature. I would try prin...

You might have debris in the nozzle - it wouldn't hurt to just replace it.

Re: What are the benefits of upgrading my Rostock Max V3 to a V3.2

The largest benefit to the upgrade is the 32 bit Duet controller. You'll get excellent calibration, every time. You can also do rapid moves at 400mm/sec without losing steps.

Re: Question about temperature 'def'

Just for grins, check your power supply output when the hotend and bed are both heating up. That's going to be where the max draw is happening. If it's less than 11.8-12v, you may have a power supply issue. If you've got one of the non-ATX supplies, there's an adjustment pot on it (where the termina...

Re: 5" touch screen for upgraded V3 machine

The screen kit for the 3.2 will work, you'll just need to drill some mounting holes for the LCD mount and a hole for the cabling to pass through.

Re: Slic3r offset by 100,100 on v2 max arduino version

If you're a Slic3r fan, you should get the Prusa Edition. It's got machine control in it and is also more frequently updated than the mainline Slic3r code.

Re: Print failure when printing vertical columns?

Make sure you've got your slicer configured to lift the nozzle on retract - z-lift or z-hop.

You can also add a brim to your print that will give it increased surface area on the bed to improve the part's hold on the bed.

Re: Slic3r offset by 100,100 on v2 max arduino version

As far as I know, that's a bug in how MC runs the Slic3r engine. If you have to use Slic3r, you might be better served by just downloading Slic3r itself and use that.

I've never used larger than an 8, but I don't know of any inherent size issue. It does need to be FAT formatted, though. The system can't read an NTFS-formatted card.

Re: Print failure when printing vertical columns?

You would slice with Cura and print from the SD card. Cura isn't really meant to be a printer host other than for Ultimaker printers. That being said, the network link from Cura to the Duet works great! :)
