Re: Changing the Hot End?

I am worried jumping from Accelerometer board to YJ on a Duet controller may cause issues when switching back and forth. I know I am not using the i2c now that I have FSR probing in place, but in your expertise would I require any tweaking when I swap back and forth with these boards or are they pa...

Re: BerdAir comeing soon From Yellow Jacket Concepts

Here is a bracket to mount the big air pump. 2 versions, one with space for .13" thick rubber which reduces pump noise. http://repables.com/r/777/ Thanks for the link. Could I further reduce pump noise by encasing it in a housing, provide an opening for intake, and mount it next to the extrude...

Re: BerdAir comeing soon From Yellow Jacket Concepts

Great - thank you so much! While we're at it - does your 8-pin wiring become loose/unplugged through every day printing? Happened to me last night, caused an 8+ hour print to fail. Thinking of wrapping it in kapton tape.. You could replace the OEM connector with this one that latches for a more sec...

Fog Buster Coolant mister bracket for Bridgeport Mill

Bracket I designed to hold the Fog Buster cutting fluid mister on my Bridgeport CNC mill. Clamps onto the quill so it follows tool up & down so mist stays right on tool. It was mounted on head so it did not move with tool. Drawn in Fusion 360. .stl & .stp files on repables.com http://repable...

No, they are a bit different. But may not make a difference to how your FSR plate mounts.
Of course the files are on github.

Re: Duet Auto-Calibration results - More Data Needed!

Have you measured the steel balls? Are they truly spherical and all the same size? All of the 4 sets of steel ball-studs I got in where somewhat egg shaped and varied in size more than I would like. So far I have found the white molded plastic barbells made by seemecnc have been better and more cons...

Whip Clip Eliminator for HE280

Some people have trouble with the whip plug un-plugging itself when printing. One option is to print a clip to retain it like one of these http://repables.com/r/808/ http://repables.com/r/811/ I don't care for the way that looks and it still does not seem very secure. I was really excited to find a ...

Re: Duet Auto-Calibration results - More Data Needed!

@DC42 could a function be added to the firmware to allow individual movement of each tower? Then we could fasten a dial indicator to the carriage and command it to move say 25mm then measure the actual movement to determine your actual steps per mm. Likewise, measuring each tower individually could...

Printable probe bracket

Bracket I designed to use a common end stop switch for probing. Mounts to the MAX Metal Platform.
http://repables.com/r/815/

The calibration built into the dc42 firmware on the Duet board works wonderfully!

Fusion 360 and .step files also, so you can modify for other platforms.

Re: Delta Calibration Wizard now online

This is the difference between the six factor and seven factor calibration with dc42's code. The six factor cal doesn't touch the arm length. (My OctoPrint plugin only uses the six factor, as do my Duet-equipped printers.) g. Okay, so is there a way to use the other method without octoprint? Is the...

I use them also. They are great.
Use small tip on soldering iron, just enough heat to melt plastic, any extra heat does not work as nice.

Re: Delta Calibration Wizard now online

Wizard makes nice flat 1st layer within .1 mm
BUT part size is off...
275 mm model prints at 270 mm
Fine for vases, frogs, Yoda heads, etc. not acceptable for real functional parts that fit properly.
Wizzer changed arm length from actual 300 to 310

Please make an option to not change arm length.

Re: Interfacing to the new HE280 accelerometer...

Looks good.
What size are mounting holes? 4.2 mm dia. would be good in my opinion. (to fit onto stand off screw)
Also, the older SeeMeCNC aluminum stand offs where .375" dia., so you would want to make sure nothing shorts out with those.
